  • STOF Biennale | Fashion as Encounters
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
In the exhibition Fashion as Encounters, co-curators NOT____ENOUGH Collective invites the audience to actively redefine the meanings of fashion, making space for untold stories, unseen feelings and and existing knowledges that have been historically erased.
  • STOF Biennale | Walk-in Wardrobes
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
To transform the fashion industry we need a wide-scale systems change. To change an entire industrial system with deep roots in exploitation of people and the planet is a daunting task. If we start to see our wardrobes as the entry point to that bewilderingly complex system, we can make a start.
  • STOF Biennale | Recovery Garden
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
Colour is a way of expressing who we are, and it can change the way we feel. It is the first thing we see when we look at a rail of clothes and we often think we need to buy something new because a particular colour is ‘in fashion’.
  • STOF Biennale | Promenade on Slow Street
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
Around the world, the high street is in urgent need of rede- sign. From how we shop, repair, sew, swap, collaborate, create and customise, we need to build an entirely new experience around clothes and accessories.
  • STOF Biennale | Designers in Residence
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
For Ways Of Caring, Fashion Open Studio presents the work of four designers in residence, who will create individual site specific projects to celebrate and integrate within the Arnhem community.
  • STOF Biennale | Whataboutery encounters series
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
The ‘Whataboutery’ is located at the Audrey Hepburn Square. The Listening Bench is the focal point for designers, artists, activists, curators and contributors to talk about their work and to be open to conversation, discussion.
  • STOF Biennale | Walkaboutery
    03 Jun, 10:00 CEST – 09 Jul, 19:00 CEST
    Arnhem, Arnhem, Netherlands
There will be regular Walkaboutery tours designed to help explore the environmental, social and emotional impact of our clothes, departing from the Listening Bench at Audrey Hepburn Plein on Thursdays and Saturdays.
  • STOF Biennale | Ways of Caring - Practicing solidarity (international fashion conference)
    30 Jun, 10:00 – 18:00 CEST
Arnhem, Onderlangs 9, 6812 CE Arnhem, Netherlands
Curious fashion professionals and creative practitioners are invited to develop a deeper knowledge on solidarity in the fashion industry - what is solidarity and how to apply it in your practice? Join the movement of creating a more solidary fashion system.
