About the Event

This event is the first in a trail across Glasgow during COP26 bringing the solutions showcased by nine international designers in response to the COP26 themes of Nature and Adaptation & Resilience to Glasgow.

This workshop will engage guests with the storytelling behind the clothing donation system used by upcycling brand Garcia Bello. This family-friendly event will invite people to tell the stories behind their clothes and leave the imprint of their clothes stories and memories for the next wearer.

You will need:

An item of clothing that you wish to donate or give away.

This event is free to attend but spaces are limited so please only sign up if you are able to attend in person in Glasgow. If you sign up and are unable to attend please cancel your booking so that we can make the place available to someone on the waiting list. 

This event is part of a Fashion Open Studio programme in partnership with the British Council's The Climate Connection global programme and campaign. Nine designers from across the world have been selected in response to the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 themes of Adaptation and Resilience and Nature.
