About the Event

This event is the first in a trail across Glasgow during COP26 bringing the solutions showcased by nine international designers in response to the COP26 themes of Nature and Adaptation & Resilience to Glasgow.

This workshop will engage guests with Sindiso Khumalo's online open studio event which focused on essential skills in garment care and repair.  During this hands-on workshop guests will be able to try techniques in crochet and applique to mend, personalise and reinvent your clothes as captured during Sindiso Khumalo's Fashion Open Studio with her team in her Cape Town studio which was hosted in partnership with Twyg.

This event is free to attend but spaces are limited so please only sign up if you are able to attend in person in Glasgow. If you sign up and are unable to attend please cancel your booking so that we can make the place available to someone on the waiting list. 

This event is part of a Fashion Open Studio programme in partnership with the British Council's The Climate Connection global programme and campaign. Nine designers from across the world have been selected in response to the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 themes of Adaptation and Resilience and Nature.
