About the Event

This event is the first in a trail across Glasgow during COP26 bringing the solutions showcased by nine international designers in response to the COP26 themes of Nature and Adaptation & Resilience to Glasgow.

This workshop will engage guests with Nepalese brand Bora Studio's eco-printing techniques using foraged autumn leaves and plants from Glasgow to create prints on second-hand clothing and accessories.

You will need:

- A piece of clothing or tote bag that you no longer use. It should be in white, cream or a light colour and ideally made of a natural fibre like cotton or linen. Blended fibres can work too but give variable results.

- Some leaves, flowers or plants collected from your garden or community spaces. These should be collected fresh on the morning of the workshop

*Please note we will provide spare second-hand items and foliage if you are unable to source these.

Booking information:

This event is free to attend but spaces are limited so please only sign up if you are able to attend in person in Glasgow. If you sign up and are unable to attend please cancel your booking so that we can make the place available to someone on the waiting list.

Garments or tote bags that you wish to print must be dropped to Print Clan on the address above at 16.30 - 17.30 on Friday 5 November or at 09.00 on Saturday 6 November so they can be soaked prior to printing.

This event is part of a Fashion Open Studio programme in partnership with the British Council's The Climate Connection global programme and campaign. Nine designers from across the world have been selected in response to the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 themes of Adaptation and Resilience and Nature.
